Katie hails from the DC metro area - VA side. She has a background in both art history and illustration, skills that are unwittingly not being put to very good use these days. Currently, Katie is involved in the Internet world, but is still hoping to be crafty for a living. She used to spend her nights eating Vinnie's pizza and painting 'til dawn, but has traded them in for a wireless mouse and a Metrocard. She loves fonts, color, her cat, mid-20th century design, jasmine tea, broadband wireless, the famous illustrators discussed in her thesis, Robert Rauschenberg, fancy dark chocolates, radiator heat, and abundant sunshine.
